Did you know that AAPS is working to influence key science policy and regulatory issues? In addition to providing expert comments on regulatory guidances, AAPS also has a seat at the table at international organizations such as the International Pharmaceutical Federation, which is allied with the World Health Organization; Research!America (R!A) in the United States; and numerous other association partners. AAPS recently collaborated with R!A to urge Congress to raise the federal spending caps on scientific research, and we signed an American Association for the Advancement of Science letter urging them to remove a tax provision associated with graduate student tuition waivers.
