A New Approach to Workplace D&I

In recent years, US companies have invested heavily in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) efforts to strengthen their workforces.  This includes actively seeking diversity in recruiting talent, but also involves improving retention by creating a working environment where that diverse talent can flourish.  Still, there is no single best approach to improving workplace culture and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves.  However, sharing personal stories and showing vulnerability can activate the empathy within all of us and lead to creation of a more inclusive environment.
