The year 2020 has been incredibly difficult in all socioeconomic aspects. Not only has the COVID-19 pandemic significantly taxed the global economy, it has unmasked fault lines that exist in society. Never in modern human history has our combined fragility been as exposed as these current times. On a positive note, this pandemic has given us an opportunity to reset our thinking for global health systems and sincerely evaluate their sustainability, which at times feels like a giant jigsaw puzzle. One key piece of this puzzle is the strategic and efficient development and manufacturing of high-quality pharmaceutical drug products.
