Dear AAPS members–

I am literally sitting on my packed bag right now, ready to head to Philadelphia for our PharmSci 360 meeting. I am so excited to see many of you for first time in almost two years and some of you for the first time ever! My CLEAR Health Pass app is updated so I can quickly and easily get my badge, and my meeting app is also ready to go (download in Google Play or the iTunes App Store)-showing all the sessions I favorited while browsing through our extensive program, including the ones I'm participating in!
I hope you have already jumped into the 350+ hours of on-demand programming that became available this week-it's been a wonderful way to get myself oriented around the topics and scientific threads I plan to follow through the conference. I've also been favoriting many of the abstracts, and I plan to engage with those poster authors both in person and virtually throughout the conference. In person, poster authors will present at their scheduled times, and we have Special Poster Collections highlighting a variety of posters each day. I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Best Poster Award recipients on Monday. Virtually, all of the posters will be available starting Monday on the meeting website, and Virtual Poster Sessions are scheduled for authors each day. Our virtual networking platform, Connect 360, will be particularly useful when you want to engage with authors-you can casually chat or easily set up an appointment regardless of time zones and surrounding circumstances.
If you have a special place in your heart for biotechnology, use PharmSci 360 to develop and build programming ideas for next year's National Biotechnology Conference (NBC)-the programming call is now open! The NBC Scientific Programming Committee met for the first time this week, and I am very excited about their energy and the program they will develop-if you run into @Lauren Stevenson and @Heather Myler in Philadelphia, or if you connect with them on Connect 360, chat with them about their vision for NBC: it is bound to get you excited!
I am almost ready to get on the road-Philly, here we come! I hope to see you online and in person: connect with me on Connect 360 and share your experience. It's going to be great to be together again for the reason we are all engaged in AAPS: sharing and advancing our science. So, as I prepare for our big week, I am letting our science inspire me to look up and ahead!
