AAPS Executive Director Tina Morris, Ph.D., gave a presentation at Temple University recently, where she shared her perspective on drug discovery and development from the CMC point of view. In reflection, Tina realized that the knowledge she acquired along the way was very meaningful to her career as it changed paths toward product quality, analytical characterization, and standards.
In last week’s letter to AAPS members, Tina shares her vision for AAPS looking inward to its members and how AAPS must think about their evolving needs. For instance, AAPS is currently undertaking a review of its Fellows program. Additionally, AAPS has many upcoming opportunities to learn and participate in science, such as award nominations, abstract screening, the upcoming workshop on long-acting injectables, and an eChalk Talk on using circulating biomarkers.
