Embracing a New Digital Publishing Model
The AAPS Journal and Pharmaceutical Research move to continuous article publishing.
Starting in 2018, The AAPS Journal and Pharmaceutical Research will move from print-issue-based publishing to continuous article publishing. In this new model, after peer review, acceptance, and production, articles will be fully published online. They will immediately be assigned an issue number; each article will start with page one; and each article will be assigned an article ID number to be used in the citation. This means that articles will be available in Web of Science and fully citable immediately upon online publication. The AAPS Journal and Pharmaceutical Research editors are excited to embrace this digital publishing trend. AAPS PharmSciTech will move to continuous article publishing in 2019, and AAPS Open has applied continuous article publishing since its launch in 2015.
